Pieter Stegen is a South African baritone and singer-songwriter based in KwaZulu-Natal. His music brings together classical vocal roots, country and pop, with an emphasis on honest stories and the people and places that shape them.

His musical background includes his time at the Drakensberg Boys Choir School. That connection is reflected in When the Nights Get Quiet, an original country song inspired by memories of the choir school. Called Home is a personal tribute to his grandfather, exploring love, remembrance and family. His recorded repertoire also includes Mama a Rainbow from the musical Minnie's Boys.

Alongside his releases, Pieter is developing his voice as a songwriter and performer. His work draws on memories, quiet moments and a strong connection to South Africa. He is registered with SAMRO and SAMPRA.
