Pieter Stegen

I am a young musician from South Africa. I grew up and still live on a farm in a rural area of Umshwathi, KZN. For those who are not South African, KZN, also known as KwaZulu-Natal, is one of our provinces. From a very young age, I loved music to the point where I used to perform for friends and family. That is when I realised that I want to go professional. In 2021, I joined the Drakensberg Boys Choir School, world-famous for its world-class music. I joined the school in grade 5 and finished in grade 9, having worked with famous artists like Lebo M, the first voice of The Lion King, Vusi Nova, and Vuvu Mpofu, and having taken part in events like Starlight Classics 2022. I then started to write my own music, like Song of the Sea or Waltz of the Moonlight, which are both available on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
